Introduction

My name is Alexa Conrad, your dedicated Special Education Support Provider. I’m delighted to embark on my seventh year within the LA Unified School District and at Stevenson College and Career Preparatory. My educational journey took me to Cal State LA where I achieved a Master of Arts in Education, accompanied by a specialized certificate in S.T.E.M Education and Online Teaching and Learning. My pursuit of higher education led me to UCLA’s Principal Leadership Institute where I attained a Master of Education and a California Administrative Credential. My role is to support students, parents, and the school community navigate Special Education. I will be involved in creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers to adapt curriculum, providing resources and training to staff, parents, and students, and fostering a supportive environment for students of all abilities.
